Nick Erdy Foundation

Benefit Dinner & Auction

November 20, 2010

March 15, 2010

On May 11, 2005, Lance Corporal Nicholas Erdy of the United States Marine Corps gave the greatest sacrifice of all. He gave his life to protect our freedom and to secure the freedom of the oppressed while fighting the war against terror in Iraq.

In his honor, his family has created the Nick Erdy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to benefit several not-for-profit groups. Funds raised by the Foundation have been used to establish and maintain scholarships at McNicholas High School and St. Louis Grade School where Nick was a student. It also supports other scholarship funds for several local community organizations.

The Foundation has made annual contributions to the Three-Deuce-Five and the Mid Ohio Marine Foundations, both of which benefit the Lima Company with whom Nick so proudly served. These organizations aid in immediate and much needed support for injured service members and their families. Again, this year, the Foundation has donated funds to the Lima Company Memorial which is currently on display in the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Our Fifth Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction will be held on November 21, 2009. At this event, there will be both a silent and live auction during which any donated items will be sold. Every donation, large or small, will be accepted and recognized at the event. If a physical item or gift certificate is not feasible, cash donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your continued support.
